CVA Control Valve Actuator

The CVA Electric Control Valve Actuator is provided in both Linear and Quarter-Turn actuators for most control valve types and sizes. The CVA sets the standard in process control valve actuators.

Insertion Mass Vortex Flowmeter

Sierra Instruments, Inc. of Monterey, California has produced the first Innova-Mass multivariable vortex mass flow meter for steam, natural gas, compressed air, and other applications where volumetric flows must be compensated for either temperature or pressure or both. Includes built-in Flow computer & Modem.
 
This meter provides a direct reading of MASS Flow Rate in lb/hr, SCFM, etc. along with the Temperature, Pressure, Density, and Volumetric Flow rate. Up to three analog outputs are provided along with the HART signal. These type multi-variable meters are also used for AGA-8 natural gas measurement and for Steam Custody Transfer applications.

The instrument is also available as a mass flow meter and now in several sizes & configurations for flow rates from 0-10 SCCM to 0-1000 SLPM.


True Wireless Gas Detection

Telemetry & Wireless Gas Detection


This System provides for True Wireless Gas Detection in an Explosion Proof environment, with a UHF Licensed Radio for transmission of data to a Remote Base site several miles away. The local flashing strobe light alerts the technician prior to approaching the site that it is in alarm mode. This same type of system can be used for remote, tank level monitoring.

Standard hard-wired transmitters are available as well to tie into existing systems or provide low cost alternatives when the wired sensor is the most economical choice. The most common sensors include chlorine, ammonia, combustible gas, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, & carbon monoxide but other gases are available as well like phosgene, fluorine, hydrazine, etc.

Insertion Flow Meter
BADGER (Data Industrial) Sensors
SDI insert style flow sensors are intended for general flow measurement applications such as in HVAC and irrigation use. They are available in either brass or stainless steel construction. The insert style sensors are intended for direct installation into pipelines through a 1" tap. The pipeline must be out of service and not under pressure at the time of installation. For any pipeline that is in service at the time of installation or cannot be de-pressurized and drained for service, Data Industrial recommends the use of our SDI "hot tap" models that are equipped with isolation valves.

Standard sensor stem lengths accommodate pipe sizes from 1˝" through 10" in diameter. Larger sizes usually require the use of hot tap models.

Accuracies of +/-1 % of Rate are typical.
