Recent Projects in 2010

• Seltech was awarded the upgrade of all (16) Insitu Oxygen analyzers for a major coal-fired power plant in Arkansas. The project was done in two phases for Unit Two and then Unit One, with 4 probes per duct on all four ducts. Each duct has two 9ft probes and two 12 ft probes for better analysis in this large size duct. Each Rosemount Analytical probe is also wired with the Auto-Calibration option for unattended operation.

• A local Oil & Gas Production company working to automate their large, remote compressor station, bought six Tyco-Penberthy magnetic level gauges, three MTS magnetostrictive level transmitters, multiple Moore Industries temperature transmitters and then wireless transmission modules provided by Gastronics, to reduce the installation costs by pulling fewer wires in the field. All design work provided by Seltech engineers. 

• Seltech was awarded a project from one of our wastewater contractors for another four SIERRA 640S Mass Flow Meters for the 14" diameter lines on the aeration basins at this Little Rock expansion.  Both of the other wastewater plants are currently using Sierra 640S meters as well.    
  

Recent Projects in 2008

• Seltech was awarded an Energy Project with a Chemical Plant to provide two 6" Insertion Style, SIERRA Mass Flow Meters for Steam and one 8" for Compressed Air. This customer already had experience with these meters in the plant from prior applications like the 24" Cooling Tower line and an Acid Line.

• A local government contractor working to dispose of nerve agents for the US Military bought another 1700 ft of O'Brien Pre-insulated, Electric-Traced Tubing Bundle for use in monitoring air quality around the plant with their CEMS.

• Seltech was also awarded a contract from one of our Steel Plants for another six SIERRA 240VTP Mass Vortex Flow Meters for water, after successful use in Argon, Oxygen, Air, and other gases at the plant. This brings their meter count to over (30) units.    
  

Typical Projects in 2007

• Seltech was awarded a sizeable Telemetry and SCADA Project in 2007 from a Chemical Plant which was based on their needs for environmental monitoring at ponds around the plant, within 2-5 miles. It included (13) RTU Systems with radios to transmit data back to the Base Station which then transferred I/O with their plant computer.
  
  Data includes pH values, pond levels, water flows, and pump motors run status. Communication is bi-directional allowing plant operators to send Start commands back out into the field to start pumps and then verify operation.

• A large Healthcare facility upgraded their boiler plant with new mass flow meters monitoring steam and natural gas to enhance the operations and performance of their system.

• A large international OEM for roasting equipment purchased (12) more mass flow meters for natural gas to enhance the operations of their systems.
